Culture & People
Most organizations are trapped in a structure of business-as-usual functioning. In this environment, many processes do not fully serve the employees, customers, or shareholders. Instead, they are based on historical ways of functioning that no longer reflect the needs of the organizational system.

As a leader, you should appreciate that the differentiating factor for creating and sustaining high performance in your workforce is ... you.
You’re not alone in feeling leadership anxiety. Here’s what to keep in mind when you feel it, and how to move forward. A wave of leadership anxiety hit me last week.
Agile, Engineering & Product
In March 2020—the early days of the pandemic—Shopify transitioned to become a remote first- company. We call it being Digital by Design. We are now proud to employ Shopifolk around the world.
Why don't we hear more developer voices in the conversation about "developer productivity"? Most self-styled experts on developer productivity seem more interested in selling something rather than painting an accurate picture of how devs really work.
